Back in 2012 we've got a NEC PBX from a local vendor in Dallas. It was an ok system to fulfill our basic needs at the moment. We had to pay the vendor for every extra feature besides phone calls, even if our employees wanted to receive voicemails in their email, the vendor charged $20 per mailbox! One day the COO decided to integrate the PBX with our CRM to get better sales tracking. The vendor said it's not possible, not even close. After spending some time on google we found EntrCom. These guys build state of art PBXs and software that can be integrated with virtually everything. It took them less than a day to integrate their PBX with our CRM. Plus we've got unlimited recordings, call queues for our call center, overflow to an answering service, forwarding, voicemail-into-email (yep!) and unlimited conference rooms. Those are just the essentials we use every day and please don't even ask me about a thousand of other free features I couldn't even remember the names. The COO is happy now, the CFO is happy - the phone bill was cut in half due to the switch to SIP and even the CMO is happy - he got the charts. The new phones are also a pleasure to use, it may sound crazy - but they show weather forecast. Our company heavily depends on the phone call volume - we just cannot afford any downtime so the reliability is a crucial factor. The new PBX is running 24/7 since Feb 2015, no problems whatsoever. We had to call EntrCom a few times to make certain configuration changes and their support seems to be outstanding, these guys are fast and they are pros. The new PBX was the best deal we've got in 2015 hands down. Highly recommended.

Our dealership has a central office with a bunch of remote locations across TX. In the central office we had a Cisco PBX with relatively modern Cisco phones, but the branches stayed completely apart, so every time you want to reach somebody in Waco you have to dial the full 10 digit number. Quite painful considering the phone book is limited to 32 numbers (cough, Cisco, cough). I remember my boss paid an outrageous price for the whole Cisco system and he definitely didn't want to start paying all over for a new system. Entrcom offered us to connect all our offices with their in-cloud PBX that would support the existing phones, and man I must admit it worked great! We sold the old PBX boxes - freed up a closet, but kept all our phones, and now calling to a branch 200 miles away is the same as calling to a guy next desk. As a head of IT I can't be happier because now I don't have to deal with the phone stuff at all - Entrcom takes care of everything. The support is top notch. Great company, look no further.
